# Best price for a data job

Ask in plain words; get what's live on FetchAPI and what the whole market charges, cheapest first. No key needed.

```
GET https://fetchapi.co/api/prices?q=search tweets[&by=call|items][&limit=10]
MCP: tool best_price {q, by?, limit?}
```

The question can name a platform ("tweets", "twitter", "instagram", "tiktok", "reddit", "app store"...) or a site we
track ("crunchbase", "tracxn.com"); the other words are the job ("followers", "comments", "revenue estimate",
"email verification"). Every job word has to match (synonyms count: tweets = posts, verification = verify / deliverability).

Answer:
- `understood`: the platform or site and the job words it read.
- `on_fetchapi.results`: live endpoints that do it, cheapest per call first: `job`, `provider`, `usd_per_call`, the exact `call`, `docs`.
- `market.results`: every priced endpoint in our research (20,000+), cheapest first: `provider`, `endpoint`,
  `best_usd_per_call` and `best_usd_per_1k_items` (the cheapest plan), entry and volume prices, `confidence`
  (stated / derived / estimated) and the `source` URL of the price.
- `by=items` sorts the market per 1,000 records: a per-call price can return 1 record or 100.

Nothing matches? Ask for it: `POST https://fetchapi.co/api/requests` (see /docs/requests.md).
Per website instead of per job: `GET https://fetchapi.co/api/cheapest?site=tracxn.com`.
